Mackerel Cottage is approximately 200 years old and is one of a row of Cob cottages thought to be among the first cottages in Budleigh Salterton.

In a set-back elevated south facing position, with glimpses of the sea and Otter Head from the upstairs bedrooms.

Mackerel Cottage is the end cottage, and accessed via a footpath running along the rear of the terace. There is roadside parking available.

The cottage has recently been extensively refurbished and imaginatively decorated, has gas central heating and is fully double-glazed with all modern conveniences.
